the puffer fish has an extremely weird adaption but it is 100% true. when the puffer fish gets scared it puffs up and takes about 30 dumps while swimming away. the puffer fish does this because the dump it takes will change colors confusing the predator and this makes the predator usually give up!

Nunners here, I was wondering which puffer fish you meant because some puffer fish release poison when they inflate, thus killing themselves and other fish in the tank. Or if you get the one that has shark spikes it could wound your goldfish causing it a cut, he could die because of an infection. Also i think puffer fish are tropical fish?
