The Concorde was a jet. It is no longer being made or used.
Concorde jet's last flight was November 26, 2003. It is also considered and known as the Concorde Jets retirement flight and was not flown anymore since then.
no. And there never will be again Im sure. As a matter of fact EADS are developing a faster supersonic commercial jet that can travel up to 1.6 mach or more
This depends on the jet. Most modern jet fighters are supersonic, however the high altitudes capable by Concorde mean it can fly generally faster due to the thinner air.
The stratosphere
Overdrive afterburners, and supersonic flight capability- It is, alas, obsolete.
France and Great Britain jointly developed the Concorde.
The British/French Concorde
You listed this is the Chrysler Concorde category but I suspect you are referring to the Concorde Jet airplane. The jet was not even invented in 1936, and was a very new technology in 1953. The first Concorde prototype was produced in 1966. The first Concorde put into service began in 1976. The First Chrysler Concorde vehicle was sold as a 1993 model in 1992..
C. A. Sharp has written: 'Concorde' -- subject(s): Bibliography, Concorde (Jet transports)
The Concorde is an obsolete jet due to many design flaws, however. There is a project called the Aroura, a design in the works of making a passenger jet at estimated double the speed of a Concorde.
The Concorde is the worlds first supersonic passenger jet. It can travel a speeds up to mach 2.02 (2,140 kilometres per hour)
