Because ancient Greece and the ancient world in general presented much more opportunity than today, instead of being born into wealth or the right circles, one with enough intelligence could prove himself great, the world wasn't already claimed, there was much knowledge to be learned and much land to take. The world wasn't set out before you and as such there was a chance to be in the history books. Not like today.
Atleast thats my view of it.
they might have to but wouldnt want to
we have freedom of religion because the world is a diverse place, and we wouldnt want to favor any religion over others. thats's why.
Neither - both involved themselves in endless wars to little purpose and much destruction. All adult males were drafted into these wars. Sparta had an edge for women - they had significant rights and part of society, whereas Athenian women were kept a home in virtual purdah, bearing and raising endless children and working in the vegetable garden.
Which language did you want it in.
If you want an answer, give 'these'.
because the felt like it
Well, if you lived on a "good" farm, you wouldnt want your crops to be hailed on. Or you wouldnt want a cayote to eat your cattle for la cena.
Sit on it.
yes because it was the god of athens
Athens was more of a city-state that weren't as involved in the military as the Spartans were. Athens was more involved in the navy. Girls in Athens had to do mustily hose hold chores, and they were not aloud to vote. When i came to acting, only men could act. (as you can tell women did not have a lot to do in the picture.) Anyway, if you want to find more research you should really go to-Athens vs Sparta differ.com
by their democracy since they're Greeks were the first to create it by using these ideas we can solve problems easier

Athens had headed the Delian League which protected the eastern Greek cities from Persian dominance. When Persia withdrew, Athens turned the league into an empire, and used this power to interfere in the affairs of other Greek cities. This led the cities of the Peloponnesian League to appeal to Sparta to lead action to limit Athens' power. Athens refused compromise and a destructive 27 year war ensued, which the Athenians lost, and were stripped of their empire, reducing them to a second rate power which could no longer try to dominate Greece and live high on the proceeds.
The airport is in Athens, so it dependes on wherein Athens you want to go.
I think that Athens would be a best place to live in ancient Greece because of their government. It allows the citizens to make decisions. In Athens the government is a democracy. They had one leader also they had a council of 500 people that help make decisions. I think because there government is a democracy that is controlled by the people the things that the citizens want to happen would happen and that would benefit for everyone. They had three branches of government legislative, executive and judicial just like us now and that seems to work really well. A other reason I would like to live in Athens is the education for boys. In Athens boys get to learn to read, write, play music, write poetry and to speak publicly. They also had military training for fitness. A other reason I would like to live there instead of Sparta is because they had extensive trade and Sparta had very little to no trade.
