For example, why do objects look distorted when they are underwater? Why is the sky blue? How do thunderstorms form? Why doesn't the moon come crashing into earth? What is the best way to throw a football?
These are all essentially physics problems, and your ability to understand them will grow with your understanding of physics.
Physics is a framework for gathering information about how things work in a useful and reproducible way. It also gives you a road map for how to answer new questions based on old observations. If I understand why the moon stays in orbit, perhaps I know something about Jupiter's orbit around the sun.
Knowing physics will (hopefully) make you a more well rounded and curious person. Curiosity makes life interesting.
Finally, if my doctor has studied physics, I would feel safer knowing that they are able to solve hard problems and have trained their minds in a rigorous science.
