Because they did the end!
Because they did the end!
You don't say on what occasion. There were two: the first when he had been installed as Govenor of the West Indies. He was accused - together with his brothers - of gross mismanagement and tyranny in that capacity. The accusations were shown to be true and Columbus was shipped back to Spain in chains. The second was when Columbus kept demanding huge amounts of money from the Spanish monarchs as a reward for his discoveries. As a matter of fact a lot of promises had been made by the king and queen - at least, encouraging nods and grunts had been made when Columbus presented his demands - but Columbus' demands were considered so extravagant that the monarchs refused to pay in the end. Columbus spent the rest of his life in fruitless ligitation.
The Spanish monarchs lost patience with conversos, or converted Jews, due to widespread suspicion and societal prejudice that they were secretly practicing Judaism. Many conversos faced discrimination and were often accused of being insincere in their conversions, which fueled paranoia about their loyalty to the Catholic Church and the Spanish state. Additionally, the desire to unify Spain under a single faith heightened tensions, leading to the enforcement of strict religious conformity and the eventual Inquisition against conversos. This atmosphere of mistrust and fear ultimately strained the relationship between the monarchs and the converso community.
He really didn't like how the Spanish people treated the Indian's
The newest research on Columbus actually shows that he was Spanish and not Italian. He wrote only in Spanish and spoke only Spanish. His wife was Spanish nobility. Historians think that Columbus took on the persona of an Italian because his family in Spain were not friends with the crown and he knew he wouldn't be able to get funding for his voyage if he kept his real identity.
Columbus received the Castilian equivalent of a knighthood, the honorific Don, as part of the contract, called the Capitulaciones de Santa Fe, that he signed with the Spanish Monarchs on 17 April 1492. That contract also gave him the titles of Admiral of the Ocean Sea, Viceroy, and Governor-General of any lands that he acquired for Spain.
The Spanish Folks (: haha i think. . . :/

America you may belive it or not is not only the USA, the USA, is part of America, as well as Brazil, Argentina, or Mexico, the place of America that Columbus landed on was what we now know as Haiti, and Dominican Republic, please dont be a fool and think that the only country with the right to call themselfs Amercia is the USA.
He was a Spanish explorer who signed a contract with the Spanish crown to find a water route to Asia. He found the Bahamas instead.
i think from Italy but he sailed under the spanish because Italy would not give him the money needed for his trip.
Monarchs are not extinct, but they are considered threatened. Their populations have been decreasing due to habitat loss, climate change, and pesticide use. Conservation efforts are in place to help protect monarchs and their migration routes.
