There are a multitude of problems which could occur depending on the weapon and the ammunition.
If the firing pin is removed the weapon will not fire.
If there is a bad primer in the cartridge that is chambered, the weapon may not fire.
If the slide jams there could be a problem with the bolt and receiver (tolerance wise)
The trigger assembly could be broken or missing parts causing the hammer not to strike the pin.
If you describe the symptoms better as well as the make and model, then someone might be able to say specifically.
It completely depends on the gun and the problem. N-Strike is a line of guns, not a particular one.
You need the services of a gunsmith
it wont rapid fire because u either dont have the batteries or u didnt turn the power switch on. (located at the backend of the gun above the trigger)

you shoot and arrow because if you notice you fire a gun it involves fire comming from gun powder. there is no fire when you shoot an arrow
To use the Cain gun it has to show 100%. Anything lower and it wont fire. In my experience its not really worth getting.
Take it to a gun smith.
