Of course...why wouldn't it be...if its not a NFL 2011 season the NFL will lose millions of dollars
So far? The Oakland Raiders.
The NFL and the TV networks worked out contracts in 2006. 1) NBC signed up with the NFL through 2011 for $622 million per year. 2) FOX signed up with the NFL through 2011 for $712 million per year. 3) NBC signed up with the NFL through 2012 for $650 million per year. 4) ESPN signed up with the NFL through 2014 for $1.1 billion per year. This puts the NFL's take at a little over $3 billion per year ... and this doesn't take into account the Sunday Ticket package on DirecTV which certainly brings in hundreds of millions more.
