yes the ps3 is a universal system which means you can buy PS 3games from anywhere on this planet and they will play on any system, this was a new installment sony made when creating the ps3, because in the past the ps1 and ps2 are not universal
BEWARE!!! PS3 IS A REGION FREE CONSOLE BUT SOME GAME MANUFACTURERS MAY REGION LOCK THE DISCS. I'D LOOK IN TO IT FIRST BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY BIG BUYS.
no
Yes, PS3 games are zone free
Yes PlayStation 1 and 2 are region locked. This means if you have an American PS2 (or 1) you can only play American games, no European, Japanese, etc. The PS3 and PSP , on the other hand, are region free, this means if you have a European ps3 or psp, you can buy games from japan (if you want) and it will work.
UNFORTUNATLY ...... NO
A american PS3 on an american TV can play the american games offline
NO, the card has to be used in the region it was purchased.
no dip!!!!!!!!
No PlayStation 3 games do NOT work on the PlayStation 2 system.
No. The Wii is region locked so it will not play European games.
No. PS2 games will not work on any Playstations
The question of PS2 games working on a PS3 depends on the PlayStation Model. New PS3s do not play PS2 games and the previous models didn't either. European PS3s that did play PS2 games did so with a Partially Software-based emulation and they have 4 USB ports.
Probably not. Most PlayStation games are region locked, just as movies are. New Zealand is region 4 and the US is region 1, therefore your American games will be incompatable with a New Zealand PS2, and a New Zealand PlayStation first edition, for that matter.
