No, probably not. I know that is very disappointing to Republican partisans who have been listening to anti-Obama political Talk Shows, or reading ultra-conservative publications. There are undoubtedly Republicans who are hoping that this year will be the year he is forced out of office. Truthfully, anti-Bush partisans felt the same way when he was president, and many Democrats eagerly awaited the day of his impeachment, but it never came. It won't come for Mr. Obama either.
Impeaching a president is not supposed to be about politics, nor is it about disagreeing with his policies. It is about proving the president committed "high crimes and misdemeanors," such as treason. While you may not like President Obama, there is no evidence he has committed treason, contrary to the heated rhetoric you may have heard on talk shows. Thus, it is doubtful he will be impeached, and politicians who are claiming that he will be are just trying to stir up their supporters and get them ready to vote in the mid-term elections.
