It would be fair to say just the opposite is the belief of Christians.
Jesus Christ is messiah. Christians belief that the Messiah will one day return to take the righteous to heaven, and the sinners will be condemned to hell. Christians believe there is only one messiah and he is Jesus Christ. The New Testament concept of the messiah comes directly from Old Testament teaching. The Old Testament picture of a suffering, dying and glorified servant of the LORD is fulfilled by Christ. Jesus himself acknowledged he was the promised messiah: Mark 14:61,62 ..................................Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, "Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?" Jesus said, "I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven."
NO Jesus did not go to hell he went to haven and that's true.

Sure, we are a very accepting group, as long as no one start proselytizing or telling us we are going to hell for not believing in Jesus. That's just rude.
Jesus was the Messiah; Sinners go to Hell, while Christians who ask for forgiveness walk with God in the Afterlife; Sin is punishable by death; Ask God for forgiveness for sin and you will be spared.
1. Jesus. Christians believe Jesus was the messiah, or savior of the world. He was crucified, died and buried and he descended into hell, when on the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, where he is seated at the right hand of God. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
AnswerWhether you believe in Jesus is your choice. Some Christians will say that merely because you do not believe, you will be condemned to eternal fire. Some say that a deity who would punish someone in this way just for not believing, is a deity not worth worshipping. Others say that Jesus was not divine, if indeed he really lived, and there is no hell.
Jewish people believe that Jesus Christ wasn't the real Messiah and they are still waiting for the Messiah. They believe that Jesus was a fake Messiah. They could believe that Jesus didn't raise up or won't be raised up because he "sinned" a lot by faking but they do believe that only God knows who will go to heaven and who will go to Hell.
Christians aim at stopping unsaved people from going to hell by spreading the Gospel (Jesus' death on the cross for our sins).
While Christians around the world are waiting for Christ's return, the Jewish people are still waiting for His initial arrival. We are told in the New Testament that only through Jesus Christ can we come to the Father. For those that do not believe that Jesus was the only son of God, may end up in hell.
No He did not. Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God. Jesus was with God in Heaven and came to earth through a virgin birth by Mary. Jesus came here to tell us that there was a way out of our doomed path to hell. Jesus is the Messiah. Jesus is the Savior. Jesus is the Son of God. There is no reason for Him to join a club. By believing in Him and repenting of our old sinful life, we can be born again. Club member? No.
Christians believe that those who leave the Christian faith will go to hell. Of course, those who have left the faith believe otherwise, believing that the Christian hell does not really exist.
