Probably not
Something Christopher paolini invented to make certain characters badass.
There are currently no plans to make Eldest into a movie
There are 3 others: Eldest, Brisingr, and Inheritance
Actually, Eragon was originally self-published. So, he had to pay someone to publish it, rather than the other way around. He was making a loss. Later, when it was picked up by a professional publisher, he did start to make money. He earns from each book sold, rather than a fixed salary.
Yes, the fifth book was released on March 13, 2012.
If you're talking about the 'ancient language' mentioned in the series of books written by Christopher Paolini, then no. He uses a mixture of old Norse and Swedish words and then throws in a bunch of accents and apostrophes to break the words up and make them look authentic. However, these are not just a bunch of random words. Every word has a meaning, for example, Waise Heill means Be Healed. Waise means 'Be'. The cunning Paolini uses Waise in different prases like Be Gone.
Unfortunately, it took about 2-3 years to write Eragon, Eldest, and Brisingr. So it may take that long for the last book. Also, Christopher Paolini (author) finished about 10 pages of the last book while writing Brisingr, so that may speed up the process, even if 10 pages is really little. Also, it could also take a while because the outline of Brisingr was over 14 pages long, and when Paolini writes the last book, there will probably be a longer outline, what with all the editing and revising. Also, since it's the last book, Paolini will want to perfect it, and make it the best. So sadly, it could take a while, maybe in 2010, 2011, or 2012. I'm just as upset as you are:(
Saddly, he said he ended the Inheritance Series, and is going to do other books about the Rider before the Dragon Rider Fall, and one that is only about the other characters in Alegasha.
Yes, he is planning a fifth book.
Yes, Rick Riordan did release a fifth book in the Percy Jackson series. It is titled the Last Olympian, and it was released on May 5th, 2009.
Eragon is actually the first of the Inheritance Cycle. It features Saphera, Eragon's blue dragon with a blue background. The second book is titled Eldest and shows Murtagh's red dragon, Thorn, and has a red background. The third book is Brisingr, and has Glaedr on the cover with a black background. The fourth and final book has yet to be released, but it has been revealed that it will conclude the cycle, and it will have a green dragon on the front, symbolizing the last egg that has yet to hatch.
It depends. Some person put the first 12 chapters on Midnight Sun on internet. And it depends on Stephenie Meyer if she is going to make the fifth book. So, maybe. =D
