Clare and Eli get to know each other better and Clare finds out mysterious things about Eli. Eli wants to protect Clare but he gets to suspicious and Clare doesn't like his suspicious ways. then there is a prom dance before spring break and Eli got tickets to a Gothic convention and he wanted Clare to come with him. but that was the night of the prom so Clare stood up Eli and went to the prom Eli got so mad. Eli called Clare and started yelling u made a promise u would never leave me you would always be there with me.and Clare said u make me scared Eli and she said she hated his car so....... Eli crashed the car while HE WAS IN IT! Clare rushed to the hospital and found Eli with a broken leg neck and scratches everywhere Clare got so frightened she broke up with him! but next season Jake comes by.
