When Gaara is brought back to life in Naruto Shippuden can he still control sand?

The Akatsuki took out the beast from Gaara in Naruto Shippuden. In regular Naruto, he had it already. I guess he got so used to using sand that he still has sand powers. By the way, his dad sealed the one tailed Shukaku inside Gaara when he was still in development in his mother.

no he will not have the sand beast in him any more, Deidara a member of the Akatsuki defeated Gaara, but the only reason he defeated Gaara is because he sent a bomb down the village and Gaara stoped it with his sand which was apart of deidara plans he had some clay worms go inside is sand shield and they explode from the inside. and hopefuly you know what happens when host gets the tailed beast taken from his/her body. but later he got it back :)

Yes, because Gaara was the one that created the gourd, not the sand though. The sand that was in the gourd was destroyed.
