Not at all. The original 'Halloween 3, Season of the Witch' has absolutely nothing to do with the Michael Myers; Halloween movies. In fact Michael isn't even in Halloween 3 except during once scene you see 'Halloween' playing on a TV in the background.
The new 2011 'Halloween 3' remake will be directed by Patrick Lussier.
