Will I die when the Sun blows up?

With that kind of radiation, yes. But I don't think that anyone living in this generation will be there when it happens.

The sun will surely exhaust its fuel and explode, but that won't be for another (roughly) 5 billion years. Still plenty of time to take out that insurance policy, plan savings for retirement, send the kids to good schools and enjoy a long, happy old age. The end of the sun's life will have absolutely nothing to do with anyone alive. It's not impossible that before the sun blows up, we will have long since become extinct, or learned to survive by somehow leaving earth. In any event, worrying about people dying during that event is much ado about (currently) nothing.
