To remove the radio you need some radio removal piins, put them in the holes on the sides of the radio and push them in, the radio will then pop out and you can pull it out.
To remove the radio from a 1976 Lincoln Mark IV, first disconnect the car battery to ensure safety. Then, carefully remove the trim panel surrounding the radio using a flathead screwdriver or a trim removal tool. Once the trim is off, unscrew the radio mounting screws and gently pull the radio out from the dashboard. Remove the 2 gray side panels on the left and right of radio using a dash removal tool. There are 4 screws holding the radio in, remove them and set them aside. Carefully pull out the radio and then remove the the antenna adapter and harness from the back of the radio.
