So, I think the guys at WWE decided to make a story line to explain his disappearance from Raw. They quickly thought of a reason that has to do with his mask, and then put a twist to it involving another wrestler that was known to wear a mask...which was Kane. This whole "What's in Kane's bag?" storyline was just to buy Mysterio some time. He'll come back, battle Kane for whatever it is that Kane did to him, and life in the WWE will be back to normal.
