Yes in fact if you have an Intel mac you can download the 32 bit iso and run it. If you have a powerpc you can use Ubuntu if you go into the downloads for a release you will see a powerpc option.
Yes! You can Run OSX (mac) and linux at the same time with a virtual machine. I perfer Parallels.
a hackintosh is just a normal pc set up to run mac, most pc's run linux fine.
No, Opera's servers run on Linux.
yes. we can
Both Windows and Linux can be installed on an Intel Mac, so yes. If you were referring to binary compatibility with Mac OS X, Windows programs can be run using third-party programs like Wine or CrossOver Mac. Programs compiled on Linux are not binary-compatible, but most programs that are open-source and not specific to functionality in Linux can be and have been ported to Mac OS X. Most of these are available via Fink.
You don't run macOS applications on Linux unless there's a Linux port. As far as Windows goes, there is Wine. Do note that it's not an emulator and it won't run perfectly with everything.
Most are. I know Windows, Mac and Linux are.
instead of windows you can have linux or mac. they are different, but you will know whats best for you when you try them, linux is free to download.but you need an operating system (windows, mac, linux or any other OS) for the computer to work
A PC is a Personal Computer. A Mac is a personal computer. A Mac is a PC. A Mac with an Intel processor can run the Windows operating system (or Linux or many others) if needed.
Yes. Many Linux distributions were created that target PowerPC Macs (Yellow Dog Linux especially; Ubuntu, Debian, and Fedora also have ports). Any modern distro for PCs can also be used on an Intel Mac. Debian has / had a version for 68k Macs as well, but this is no longer well-maintained, and many programs lag behind the other ports in their versions. Software such as Virtual Box allow you to create a virtual Linux computer on your Mac. (See links below)
If the application is designed to be cross-platform and/or open-source, then it will run on macOS. Otherwise, it would not work.
A Mac is a computer the cost of which varies depending on which model you buy. Linux is an operating system that is free. You can use the Linux operating system on a Mac if required.
