No Max and Fang get back together. They were ment to be together. Dylan should have ended up with someone though

What happens to Fang in Maximum Ride?
In the book "Fang" Fang ends up leaving after Total's wedding because he thinks he is a distraction from what they need to get done. After leaving, he uses his blog to find a "flock" of his own including Max 2 which as you can imagine ends with a fight with Max. Fang's gang splits up in Nevermore after Max 2 gets killed by the new Ari. Then later on the climax hapens (end of the world) and he has Max in his arms as they get hit by a tidal wave covering half of the earth. BUT. Since they have gills they can breathe. Dylan ends up pulling them to the top with Angel where they rest on a rick, discovering that half of the earth is now water and half in high land; practically designed for them while the kids are in the canves which are now under water. Does that help? I think i got everything
Who is Fang in Maximum Ride?
Fang is a character that has been with Max since they were kids and growing up in dog cages. We later find out around the book "The Final Warning" that he is attracted to Max. He leaves Max in "Fang" to start his own gang "Fang's Gang" because Angel says that Fang will be the first to die, and he doesn't want to endanger Max. He then comes back for Max after his love -Maya- (Max's clone) dies, abandoning his gang. In the end of "Nevermore" Max chooses him over Dylan and they "Die" in each other's arms. (If you want to understand the quotation marks around the word die, then read the epilogues of "Nevermore").
