Best Answer

It is unlikely that anyone will ever build a bug free OS. An OS is simply too complex to find all faults in advance.

Is windows 8 work with android?

Android is an operating system, much as Windows is an operating system. It is not possible to run Windows 8 on Android. Microsoft only allows Microsoft 8 RT to be installed on certain devices, so it is highly unlikely that any Android device will ever run Windows 8 RT. However, it it technologically possible for and Android device to run Windows 8 RT, with the only limitation being Microsoft's strict policy on the devices that will be certified to run it.

Did Microsoft invent the Disk Operating System?

No. Before MS-DOS ever existed, Digital Research had a disk operating system called CP/M for 8-bit Intel 8080 and Zilog Z80 based microcomputers. Bill Gates bought the original MS-DOS from a programmer at Seattle Computer Products named Tim Paterson who had developed a variant of CP/M-80 as an internal product for testing SCP's new16-bit Intel 8086 CPU card. The system was initially named QDOS (Quick and Dirty Operating System), before being made commercially available as 86-DOS. Microsoft purchased 86-DOS, allegedly for $50,000. This became Microsoft Disk Operating System, MS-DOS, introduced in 1981.

Did IBM contract with Microsoft to make the Linux Operating System?

Well actually, Linus Torvalds wrote Linux some time after Microsoft halted sales of the Microsoft version of Unix, then called Microsoft Xenix. Microsoft Xenix: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xenix Yes, Microsoft used to market it's own version of Unix to the world. Microsoft did not create Unix, nor did IBM. Though IBM also has sold and continues to sell it's own version of Unix called AIX. AIX is very proprietary and there are people (actually, a LOT of people) who have difficulty characterizing AIX as Unix. In the unlikely event any purists ever read this, yes, I know Unix is actually a specification, not an operating system.
