There are several models of voice activated navigation devices. For example Garmin Nuvi 880 GPS has a voice activation function. The Navigon 7200T, TomTom GO 930 GPS, and the Magellan Maestro 4250 also support voice activation.
Not very effectively. It will work to a minor extent for what you want the activated carbon for, but not nearly as well as properly prepared activated charcoal.

I don't have an OnStar system, but I believe it should. Most GPS devices leave what's callled breadcrumbs (trails of where the vehicle has been). Now it all depends on how large of a record the OnStar system retains.
Activated carbon has high surface area; this characteristic improve the reactivity of the material.
Sorry, OnStar can be activated with a Verizon phone. The OnStar phone can be added to a family plan as a family phone.
It has navigation thru Onstar with turn by turn directions. Visual display with audio.
Yes, it does. You need to subscribe to OnStar for it to work, though.
You call a locksmith who can make a key or acquire the right one with the serial #s from the dealership
Only if you have onstar. Some 2006 TB's have onstar, but most don't. It came standard in all GM vehicles as of 07. You probably have analog onstar which does not work anymore (not sure when that happened) but only the digital onstar works. If you have the analog and your in an accident onstar will try to connect but it wont work and possibly drain your battery. If you find out this is the case you may be able to upgrade to digital for a lot $$ or you can get it disabled at a Chevy dealership for free
OnStar was created in 1995.
In order to disable OnStar unplug the cords that are connected to the OnStar box. The OnStar box is found in the inside panel of the trunk of the car.

If the key doesn't work then it can't be activated. If it's activated you don't need a key. If it's not activated and the key doesn't work, contact Microsoft support.
OnStar does provide ENav, which lets you plot out a course based on your current position and desired destination and which then sends that information to your car's navigational system (usually of a third party). While OnStar does provide turn-by-turn navigation, it is actually done through a live OnStar advisor; apparently they haven't thought to consolidate all the services together! Your best bet is a cheap GPS turn-by-turn system or, if you're looking to splurge, one from TomTom.
The Chevrolet Malibu's navigation and hands-free calling is through OnStar, which has some limitations. The handling also feels wobbly at higher speeds.
There are very few places that onstar is not available, and a few places where onstar has limited availability. The few places that Onstar is limited or has no service is scattered throughout the US. Onstar is available in approximately 98% of the Us nationwide.
