yes
No.Lamyis right the USA didn't Declare war on North Korea. North Korea declared war on the USA.
By the time of the Korean War, the Soviet Union had nuclear weapons and was allied with China and North Korea. Using a nuclear weapon there could have triggered a nuclear war between the US and the USSR.
The US never declared war on North Korea. The Korean War was between the United Nations and North Korea, (assisted by Russia and China).
Not during the Korean war...
On the 29th of March, 2013 North Korea did declare that it was at state of war with South Korea.
because north Korea has a nuclear weapon and south doesn't have it. and there is no good to war against each other. WAR= using nuclear weapon = destroying whole Korean peninsula and some part of japan, china and Russia That means killing a lot of lives
They haven't. That whole thing was a mistranslation between the interpretor and speaker. War has NOT been declared... yet.
The limited war (no nuclear weapons) was successfully fought. South Korea exists today, separated at the 38th Parallel from North Korea.
The Korean War is when Korea split and therfore sparking a rivalry
North Korea would first launch a Nuclear Missile at South Korea, due to there past arguments. This would prompt the U.S to launch a missile, causing a nuclear war between communists and democracies.
South Korea is not threatening anyone with nuclear weapons; it is North Korea that is doing the threatening. The motive behind the North's activities is to press for humanitarian aid using the threat of nuclear war as incentive for the West to provide this aid (like a ransom).
North Korea has recently declared that it is at war with South Korea. This is not really because of anything South Korea has done, but rather it is an attempt to pressure the international community which has recently enacted economic sanctions against North Korea, in an effort to discourage North Korea from pursuing its nuclear weapons program. North Korea cannot pretend to be at war with South Korea and still conduct business as usual with them. That would not make sense, and would show that the declaration of war is meaningless. Whether North Korea will take the next step, of actually invading South Korea, remains to be seen. If they do, then they will have a real war on their hands.
