Yes Silver is confirmed for Sonic Generations. He will be a boss for the Crisis City level. Interesting fact: Silver is the boss of Crisis City but will most likely be fought in Soleanna, much how in Generations Metal Sonic is the boss for *insert level here* but will be fought in Stardust Speedway i believe. But it is unknown if Silver will be a supporting character, his only known role in the game is a boss.
