No, i don't think so. I've got all of the Sims 2 and i haven't had a problem like that. But i do suggest that when you click the disk in you double click on the game that has all the saved Sims on, that's what i do. hope this helps C:

Yes. You can use any of the expansion packs with the double deluxe. It might erase your saved games when you install it though
