Salmonella is all interchangeable to my knowledge. However, I doubt you had a snake that had salmonella. According to some data less than 1% of salmonella cases (and according to some up to 1%) come from reptiles. Of that about 95% of those case are from baby turtles. Leaving only 2.5% to either snakes or lizards. Which means, that if there were 100,000,000 you only have a chance of about 2500 cases being from snakes. Now there are nowhere near that amount of cases per year I am sure, however, you always need to be careful and wash your hands before and after handling.
Yes. Many reptiles carry salmonella.
salmonella bacteria
To get rid of salmonella on a turtle, ensure proper hygiene practices such as washing hands before and after handling the turtle, cleaning the turtle's enclosure regularly, and feeding them proper diet to keep them healthy. Consult a veterinarian for specific advice and treatment options if you suspect your turtle has salmonella.
its very natural and healthy for a turtle to have salmonella and you cant get rid of it but you can get it but just make sure that you wash your hands after holding them
the snake will win because it is faster then the turtle.

The snake-necked turtle has a neck because it needs to survive. Doh!!!
We keep turtle and snake in same class because both are reptiles.
None. Salmonella just hitches a ride.
Bacteria of genus Salmonella are normal mutualistic symbionts in the intestine of turtles; however you can see it with a fecal colture.
