Yes they will, apparently the UK and Japan are on the same region code but i don't know if that's true or not. If you live in Japan you might as well get games from there as they are cheaper (they have usually been out longer there). Also if something goes wrong which is covered by warranty you will have to send it to Japan, that won't be very cheap. Also Ive heard that in Japan they have different plugs and cables to plug into TV and socket.
Hope this Helps.
Nintendo Wii Game Discs bought in the USA, will not workon a Japanese Wii.----You will have to modify a console for this to happen. If you modify a Nintendo Wii to do this, you will void your warranty on the console.----
No. Wii consoles are locked by region and can only play games bought in the same region as the console. Games from the US and Europe cannot legally be played on a Japanese console.
Unfortunately, no. But you can buy a Wii Freeloader from Amazon, although this may stop working due to Nintendo's updates to the wii.
PAL games will only work on a European wii, as the wii is coded to send PAL signals, or you need to modify a Japanese, North American, or other wii to become region free.
It should, it's the same Wii console
Yes the controlers are not regon locked
