Victor is not going to die from being shot. He will receive Colleen's heart and will recover. However, Eric Braeden is in the middle of contract negotiations so Victor may actually be written out of the show. Whether he will be killed off or it will be left open - who knows? Most likely, they will resolve the dispute and Victor will be here to stay.
