Yes it will fit. But the problem is that the 95 has a computer in it to make the transmission that belongs in it shift up and down. The one that is in it now is a 4L60E and the E means electronic.
The 88 trans will not WORK right cause that trans. is not electronic. You will always have a check engine light on and the engine electronics may not work correctly either.
You really need to put the 4L60E back in it and be done with it.
