If 8th VIN digit match, then yes
yes as long as they are both sohc or both are dohc engines
You would have to change the computer wiring harness etc
exact fit fir the sohc engine is 93 or 94 only
what you have to determine is if the engine is a DOHC (SC2, SL2, SW2) or SOHC (SC1, SL1, SW1) engine. they should be interchangable given the engine is the same. Doesnt have to even be the same, single or dual have basically the same lower ends so you can swap any 1.9 Saturn starters.
1.9L SOHC in the SL1, The SL2 has a 1.9L DOHC. I Get 38mpg from mine.
A Saturn SL -- and every S-series Saturn -- has a 1.9 liter 4 cylinder engine. The SC2, SL2, and SW2 have a DOHC (dual overhead cam) engine; the SC1, SL, SL1, and SW1 have a SOHC (single overhead cam) engine.
A 1994 Honda Prelude S would not have a VTEC engine in it (assuming it has the original engine in it). It should have the F22A1 in it which is SOHC and Non-VTEC.
Sohc
Not Applicable The Saturn 4 cylinder, both the SOHC and DOHC used a chain, and it doesn't need to be replaced unless the engine has OTHER problems.
On the 1.6L sohc starter is between the engine and fire wall. By the oil filter.
A 1994 Nissan Quest with the V6 3.0 SOHC engine holds 4.5 quarts of oil.
1992 and 1993 Honda Civics and Civic Del Sols with the 1.5L FI SOHC and the 1.6L MFI engines 1995 Honda Civics and Civil Del Sols with the 1.5L MFI SOHC, 1.5L MFI VTEC SOHC, and 1.6L MFI VTEC SOHC engines 1994 Honda Civic CX, Civic DX, Civic VX, and Civic Del Sol S with the 1.5L MFI SOHC engine 1994 Honda Civic EX, Civic SI, Civic Del Sol, and Civic Del Sol SI with the 1.6L MFI VTEC SOHC engine 1994 Honda Civic LX with the 1.5L MFI SOHC engine 1996 and 1997 Honda Civic Del Sol with the 1.6L MFI VTEC DOHC engine
