Behind the glove compartment.
On a 1996 Chevy Cavalier, the Engine Control Module (ECM) is typically located under the dashboard, to the left of the steering column. It is usually mounted on the firewall or near the fuse box. To access it, you might need to remove some trim panels or the glove compartment. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for specific guidance and safety precautions.
you can bolt up engine but you will more than likely have to exchange exhaust manifold as well as the computer ecm/pcm/ecu its diffently not p[lug and play
The ECM will be programmed to shut it down around 105 mph.
you need to explain more... are you looking for one?
You do not, this is regulated by the ECM. The car's top speed is 108mph.
There are none, timing is adjusted by the ECM by advancing or retarding the spark in each cylinder. There is a chain in the side of the cylinder head that turns the cam but this is not adjustable.
Just unhook the battery cables for 5 mins, That will reset the ECM
