Will a 1997 cavalier z24 2.4 L bolt up to your 2000 z24 what are the things that would need to be changed?

On the 2000 model, keep the exhaust manifold and the intake manifold. The rest of it will sit in there just like the old one did.....Buy exhaust manifold gasket for 2000 model. It will cover the EGR port to close it off.
