Maybe, as long as both vehicles had the 2200 4-cylinder engine. The S10's motor might be slighty different tuning wise because it was used in a truck. Even if both motors are OHV 2200's they still might not work due to the fact a S10 is RWD/4WD and a Cavalier is FWD.

There is no 2001 S10 with a V4 engine.
