Will a 283 motor work in a S10 GMC Jimmy that has a 4.3 motor in it and how much extra things will I have to buy for it to go into the jimmy and will it be worth changing the motor over?

hey I put a 283 in my s10 and its a blast you will need to buy conversion mounts and a set of headers you can use your transmission to without changing drive shaft length and best of all you can use a flex fan because 283s have a small dampner I actually got better mpg then my 4.3 if i didnt have my foot into it
