There is no certain GPA requirement, and if there was, it would not be advertised to the general public. It is a combination of GPA, class standing, SAT scores and high school extracurricula activities. As a general thought, you should consider that 3.5 or higher would be necessary to get into this prestigeous competitive school.

I went to a high school in jersey city, New Jersey where 50% or more of our class comes to rutgers new brunswick. Almost no one gets rejected, and the average gpa coming out of the school is probably around 3.6 or higher so 90 or above on the 100 point scale. Other people with a lot of extracurricular activities and such- sports, clubs, good SATs also help a lot. I think if you get above 1200 in math and verbal you should be fine as well.
Maybe if you apply on casual spike-the-water-cooler-with-LSD day.
While Rutgers University considers each application, a high school GPA of 3.0 would likely be rejected. It may be considered separately on the merits of the individual student.
of course you can. rutgers accepts people who have a 3.6 gpa, so you're good.
yeah it can. i got in with a 3.14.
GPA might not matter as much as being able to spell RUTGERS. They say that it is important, but as long as you have a 3.5 you should be fine
Rutgers is an university in New Jersey with enrollment of 58,788 as of 2012. For transfer students the average GPA for enrollment is between 3.6 and 4.3.
3.0 is pretty low for Rutgers, but if your SAT scores are very high, there might be a chance.
3.5
The required SAT score for Rutgers University, New Brunswick is 1600. The required GPA for the college is a B plus.
Well, a 46 GPA is a Grade Point Average on a scale of 100 which means that you averaged a 46% throughout high school. I'm not of any other scales that might be 46.0, There is such a thing as a weighted GPA of 4.6 out of 5, as well.
If you can make up some classes, maybe raise your gpa up to at least a 2.5 and do fairly good on your SAT's and ACT's, also get involved in many extracurriculur activities you may have a chance. I got in with a 2.9 gpa and a 1640 SAT score.
not at all just have a 3.5+ gpa and at least a 1900+ on the sat and if you are in few clubs your fine
