It is very unlikely to kill someone with an airsoft gun at 500 fps. Normally, you could possibly give them a welt or possibly even pierce their skin(only slightly). You could NOT kill them, but you could give them a severe wound(unless of course, you held the gun like right IN their ear, eye, or even chest area and repeatedly fired rounds, and by repeatedly, like at least 50 shots). Unless you are really cruel and play like that, you cannot kill someone. Remember to wear glasses or goggles and if you're just fooling around in your backyard, your friends probably won't want to play with you if its that powerful. Go for a gun under 400 unless it's a sniper
Depending on where it strikes him and protective clothing. Yes it can. If it is airsoft the damage will be minimal but if it is a BB or pellet then it will do more damage.
300 fps or 320
Gamo Hunter Extreme 1650 FPS - Air rifle .177 Cal Air Force TalonP 900 FPS air pistol .25 Cal Hatsan AT P1 Air Pistol .177 870 FPS The Air Force TalonP is faster in .25 Cal than the Hatsan .177 Cal
320 in a pellet gun is average. there are a few that have a higher FPS, but anything that fires between 300 - 400 FPS is normal for a C02 pistol. Rifles on the other hand currently are made to fire above 1000 FPS. The Crosman 1377C fires above 600 FPS but you have to pump it 10 times and it is a single shot pistol
That would most likely be the Hatsan AT P2 PCP Air Pistol at 870 FPS
It depends on which model you are asking about. But the air pistol P99 is rated at 360 FPS
around 500fps sometimes more
It is rated at 320 FPS
200 Feet Per Second (FPS)
Yes it will sting or possibly injure the animal. Even though it's a relatively slow firing pistol. 200 FPS. The pellet will sting if fired a a close range. If you hit a rodent or very small animal it will penetrate the body.
I can not tell you the foot pounds but the FPS (Feet Per Second) is rated at 200 FPS and that is considered very slow for an air gun. A Daisy Red Ryder fires at 350 FPS. The only other air gun that I know of that fires that slow is a Marksman 1010 and it also fires at 200 FPS.
About 1000 fps for a pre-charged pneumatic, such as the Evanix.
Do not expect any air pistol to come near advertised speeds. Evanix, FX air guns and others make super powered pcp airguns that can reach into the 600-700 fps area, where as other spring pistols like the browning 800 mag and Diana p5 and lp8 can get around 500 fps.
