NO, 2 different types of engines and computer systems. The wiring harness's are even different. So are the fuel pumps that's in the fuel tank.
no.
If they are both 3100 engines...yes. Direct swap. The only thing you MAY have to change would be the motor mounts.
yes, but you have to do some fabrications to the motor mounts.
I recently swap 1996 geo/Chevy tracker engine with a 1996 suzuki engine and it worked. you have to make sure they both have G16A stamped on both engines. you MAY have to swap intake and exhaust manifold, flywheel, alternator bracket, and a few other things. just make sure they are the same engine (G16A)
yes just have to swap the computer, wring harness and sensors
the g20 should be a 350 and I believe the caprice is a 305 you can swap the engines but you will also probably have to swap the intake and exhaust manifolds
the beretta and lumina motors are about the same i have a lumina motor in my 95 beretta
why would u do that 305s are junk keep it 350 the answer is yes you can swap a 5.7 for a 5.3 in a 99 Chevy
Yes But they have different plug ins on the throttle body so you will have to you will have to swap the throttle body also
yes it will bolt right in and all accessories will work but unless you change your carb or have someone adjust for the proper mixture for the bigger motor it wont give you its full potential but its a very easy swap
Get the motor mounts, trans mounts, transmission, radiator from a 1976 Malibu or Monte Carlo and swap them in.
a very easy swap...use the original trans
