It will but mods are reqd. I believe it is 6" longer so have to relocate cross member and probably use diff flywheel or dual, 400 starter and probably a cable shifter as well.
If it's a 350 from a Chevy, yes.
Yes, as long as the transmission has the Chevy bolt pattern.
There is no need for a adapter plate, The 350 trans. bolt pattern is the same as a 400 trans bolt pattern. All Chevy transmission are interchangeable up to the year 2000
th 400 th 350 if it has over drive 700r4
Yes.
Turbo 300, Turbo 350, Turbo 400 and 700R4 are the first ones that came to mind.
either a 285 or a 350... the odds are that its not a turbo 400
Yes of course. All Chevy engines are interchangible with transmissions. For example, you can have a 305, 307, 327, 350, 400 with a turbo 350, turbo 400, or 700r4 big block are also the same
It will be a 350 turbo if its a half ton. 400 turbo if its a 2500 or 3500 NEUTZ
yes, but the main journals will need to be turned down to fit the 350 saddles
350 9in trbo or 400 blot on youk if some chang at one time 350 short tial
Sorry but it will not I have tried. The 400 is too wide and it won't bolt up correctly when the transmission is installed.
