If a computer's power supply overheats then switch the computer off and let it cool down. Similarly, purchase a laptop stand or computer fan to get cool air flowing around the machine.
Idle speed is computer controlled and is not adjustable.
You can run it until the processor overheats and shuts down which will not take long. Eventually the processor ECU will fail due to overheating and you will be replacing it.
The USN classified battle cruisers as LARGE CRUISERS (such as the Alaska class-12" guns); not wanting to imitate the Europeans. For the USN, under the Large Cruisers came Heavy Cruisers (8" guns) then light cruisers (6" guns). "Battlecruisers" were large gunned and thin armored warships. "Battleships" were large gunned and heavy armored warships. Battlecruisers were designed for "speed" and "killing power" (large guns); and built to chase down and kill cruisers (especially raiding cruisers). 1. Battleships-heavy weight boxers/for knock down drag out fights 2. Cruisers-Raiding/Reconnaissance 3. Destroyers-Screening/Reconnaissance/Destroying submarines & torpedo boats/Liaison duties
No.
A failed computer is possible, It could also be the cluster, wiring, ignition switch, etc.
It could be that your computer needs a new battery. There could be a problem with the fan that cools your computer. If the computer overheats, it will turn off. There could also be some malicious program that is causing your computer to shut down.
more than likely its the computer does it work somtimes then all of a sudden turn off
My 2007 overheated and the engine shut down automatically - while I was driving
takes the heat away from engine low coolant??
If it overheats at speed, but cools down when you slow down, the problem is likely a head gasket. Combustion gasses are leaking into the cooling system, adding bubbles (which take the place of coolant) and extra heat. Slowing down means the engine is spinning slower, and less combustion gas gets into the cooling system.
Yes, I have one and it overheats so badly that the computer shuts down. I google dv6 overheat and found that it was very common. I thought I got a great deal, but a computer that I can only use on the lowest power and graphics settings isn't a good deal. I could have gotten a cheaper version...
