It might if it is soft. The PSP-1000 is thicker than the PSP-2000, with two protruding bumps either side at the back. The PSP-2000 by comparison lies flat at the back, due to the thinner battery. A PSP-1000 would probably not fit in a hard case designed for the PSP-2000#s flat back, but a more flexible case might accomodate it.
It should- there weren't many size changes from the 2000 to the 3000.
No, the 3000's screen is not compatible with a PSP-2000.
yes, it does
Yes, the PSP 1000, 2000, 3000 and E1000 all use the Memory Stick Pro Duo. 2000 is the code for 'PSP slim and lite'.
No, the PSP Go does not have a UMD drive.
The screens are exactly the same size, however the internal connectors that operate the screens are more than likely to be different.
yes it can but i wouldn`t
the LCD on a psp 1000 dose not fit on a psp 2000. Why you ask the psp 1000 has one connection that connect to the MBO and the psp 2000 has 2 connection that connects to the MBO.
The psp 3000 has a microphone, a screen with better quality and no ghosting and visible in sunlight, slightly different home start and select buttons, slightly different logo placements, shiny back, the ring on the UMD slot is thinner and chrome. If you have a working 2000 it's not really worth the upgrade but the new features are nice.
Have you receive any answers?? I'm asking myself the same question this store shows pictures of both the 2000 and 3000 models and they look almost with the same type an size connectors to the main board but I'm not sure... http://www.chinaontrade.com/sony-psp-spare-parts-c-56.html
do you mean caging by putting it in a smart fit psp case or another way>>if its another way it could get damaged
If one is wanting to purchase a case to fit a PSP they are available at a variety of places. These can normally be found at store such a Best Buy and are also available from both the Amazon and Ebay site.
logitech offers great PSP hard carrying case that are pretty strong and based on reviews offers a wide variety of colors and shapes so you can fit into addtional items.
The PSP-3000 has a bigger screen and the PSP-GO has a screen like half an inch smaller. If you're looking to buy a PSP just get the 3000 it's WAY better on go you have to buy game off PS store no umd's ;-) also the psp 3000 has almost every capability of a psp go but the psp3 costs like 100 dollars less! However, the Psp-Go screen has the same amount of pixels but smaller so therefore better quality screen. Being smaller it can fit in our pocket un-noticeably.
No, the PSVita uses PSVita Memory Cards, they are about the size of Micro SD cards. They do not support Sony's Memory Stick Pro, that you would use in a PSP.
