Running a cooling tray off the battery will put an additional load on the battery causing it to run down faster
Melting occur faster then freezing
I would check the Cooling Fan Switch/Relay. Sounds like it is a bad switch and stays 'on' well after it is needed, if it is running the battery down.
Sand has a larger surface area, therefore cooling quicker.
It allows sweat to evaporate faster and more efficiently, cooling you down.
That is an incorrect question. A deep Freezer is not meant for pullinf down the temperature. Its meant to maintain the temperature.

Battery is down. Recharge it by plugging into a USB port on a computer that is powered up. If it continues to flash even after charging, the battery may need replacement.
the cooling fan fusible link comes off the battery cable then goes down to a plug that turns up towards the fan relay and also the alternator.
the color of an object will affect the rate of cooling e.g black objects cool down faster than shiny objects, the temperature around the object will also affect the rate of cooling, if the surrounding is cold, a hot object will cool faster than when the surrounding is hot.
It can wear down the battery and decrease over overall life of the battery. Just charging it until it it's fully powered can help to keep the battery life as high as possible. Make sure you do not overcharge the battery and lower it's lifespan per charge.
An external hard drive with an AC power adapter will not run down your laptop battery. A USB powered compact drive, however, will draw additional battery power through the USB interface. The benefit is that a bulky AC adapter is not needed, making the unit easier to transport.
As all lappy's run on battery and always keeping the battery in charge can reduce the battery life.. If u didnt bother abt the battery or u have no other option of turning it off, then it is better to use a cooling pad as the cooling system of the lap wont be so effective and it is advisd to off u r lap if u didnt use for more than an hour
