From my experience, If your crank sensors bad the car will not start up at all.
by driving my car the hyundai elantra 01 stall out and i replaced spark plugs , cam sensor crank shaft position sensor and still not ignighte
AnswerYes, but, if the sensor is permenately bad it probably wouldn't start again. It is , however, possible that it has an intermittent problem, causing it to stall, buck, or misfire. it could also have contamination on the flange (the part on the crank pulley), oil saturated wiring, or loose /shorting out wires. a visual inspection of under the timing cover will help. If it stalls and restarts right away, check more into fuel pump problems and airflow monitoring systems, possibly even injector pulse (cam sensor related).
your crank angle sensor playing up.
There is no such thing as a crankshaft sensor. There is no such thing as a crankshaft sensor.
Your Mercury Cougar might stall in reverse because of a problem with a bad crank sensor. This problem could also be due to the crank sensor wires which are damaged or not wired correctly.
your engine will stall. When you try to restart the engine, it will stutter and stall again.
youtube!
it can, but i would check the ignition control module first....then the crank sensor.....
A bad crank sensor will definitely cause the car to stall. Eventually the car will stop starting up again, or if it does, it will die down around ten minutes. A good thing to do if you're sure it's the crank sensor, replace it.
crank sensor in 2000 dodge neon fails. car starts to stall while operating. idols with no problem, when in operation starts to stall again and again until will not start again.
The crank sensor probably needs to be replaced.
If it is the 7.3L diesel .I would check the crank sensor.
