It depends, different chipsets use different screens, the screen model is the same, but the version is the one that varies and for it to work you need to replace it for the same screen with the same serial code, for example, my Bold 9780 uses a 004/111 series but there is also a 002/111 series, you can see the screen series on the back of your lcd screen, and yes, the only way to know is by you tearing apart your device
