If you are around people smoke drugs can it be detected in drug testing?

Yes - you can - but it depends on how much second-hand smoke you inhaled and what they are testing for; if they are not testing for what the people are smoking then it doesn't matter on the test.

If you are talking pot, then the THC will be stored in your fat cells and only gradually cleared from the body. Because the THC is not water soluble, drinking lots of water really won't speed up getting it out of your system.

Don't take the chance. some test are more advanced than others.

I assume you're talking marijuana. the answer is YES. It's extremely variable, but some sources say that second-hand smoke actually has more discoverable traces of THC than if you were inhaling. Most likely no. However if you are in a very small enclosed room and around ti for a while you may have a small amount in you system. if you have to take a test i would suggest not being near it a few days before you have to.

No, the amount you would inhale from someone else smoking would not be enough to fail the drug test unless you were in a car and they hotbox out of it, but even then you probably would still pass the test. The test doesn't fail you unless you have a high enough amount of thc.

No you cannot come up positive from being around the smoke. i know for a fact. i have to submit to random drug screens and i am around pot everyday. as a matter of fact, i roll it for my friends. the guy that does my screens says the only way you can get marijuana in your system without inhaling it in your lungs is by eating it or sitting in in boxed in room like the size of a closet and inhaling it for 3-6 hours. i mean are you really that dumb?
