no, it is different, do not try to make it fit; 87-95 are the same and all pre-87 are the same
no
yes
the 84 302 'can' fit into the 88gt, but the width of the small block will be a bit to big to fit in the 88. you'l need to plasma cut 'or any way of cutting' oway at least 3 inches off the lower firewalls on the pasenger side area.
You should find it in the goose neck where the the radiator hose connects to to the intake manifold. there should be 2 there, one for gauge and the other is for smog temp vacuum switch, if it's a 305 V8
TH350
if you have an 84 z28 camaro it has a 305 or a 305 h.o. 5.0L
it's lean
I have an 84 305 and everything says 45, and uses r45ts plugs
The headers for a 350 and 305 are the same.
A Stock 305 Pushes Around 230hp/200 foot lbs torque @ 4900RPMs. But, I dynod my 1985 El Camino 305 HO with an Eldelbrok performer intake, dished pistons, with 58cc heads and 9:1 pistons at around 302hp. Must be wrong. I have just researched the engine in my '55 Chevy Pickup and find it is a 1984 305 LG4 which is rated at 150 hp. The 305 HO is rated at 190 hp. You did not say what YEAR 305 you started with. FYI - buyer beware - it was sold on EBay as having a 350 cu in in it.
No, it will not. 81-84 are the same
motors are the same but there on differant sides the left to a 84-88 will fit the right to a 90-96 and the right to a 84-88 will fit the left of a 90-96
