yes it can. there's this mosquito called DANGI in Asian country's MOSTLY and if it bites you, you get seriously sick. There was this guy in Malaysia he got Biten but he thought it was just a normal bite so he didn't do any thing about it but after a while he started falling sick, and he thought that it was normal but after a few days he died.............P.S u would know if it was a dangi bite because the bite would be HUGE and you would fall sick soon after the bite........make sure you see a doctor !!!.
