Generally it will as long. When something like that gets refurbished then a lot of new parts go into it so it works like new.

How much can I save buying a reconditioned hot tub rather than a new one?

You can save quite buying reconditioned in some cases. Sellers of reconditioned goods often discount there wares to reflect the amount saved by not going through a third party retailer, which can often be substantial. Reconditioned hot tubs often include an original body with new pumps or filtration. Reconditioned hot tubs can give you a great "bang for your buck" as they often cost half what an equivalent new hot tub would cost.

What is the difference between a "reconditioned" hot tub and a new one?

Reconditioned hot tubs are essentially used hot tubs. They have been purchased and used by someone else and then bought back by the company of origin for whatever reason. That company then inspects them to make sure the hot tub works properly and is cleaned and refurbished so it may be sold to another customer. New hot tubs have never been used.

How much is a new appliance versus a Reconditioned Appliance?

Today, more than ever consumers are trying to get the best quality purchases possible at the lowest cost. Many consumers in need of appliances have begun to buy reconditioned appliances to help save more money. There are pros and cons to buying either new or reconditioned appliances. Reconditioned appliances cost much less than new appliances but may have the worn external look or the warranty offered may only cover the parts changed during the recondition. New appliances will cost more but will have the picture perfect external look and have a warranty on the appliance and all of its parts. For example, if someone is in the market for a new refrigerator, new refrigerators cost anywhere from $700.00 - $2000.00. Reconditioned or refurbished refrigerators can cost anywhere from $150.00 - $800.00 and they may or may not offer a warranty with the purchase. It is more of a personal gain or loss when choosing between new or reconditioned appliances, pay more for a new appliance but receive the brand new look

How can I be sure that a mattress I purchase is not reconditioned?

There are several things you can do to make sure the mattress you're buying is not reconditioned. First, shop from well-known, established businesses. Federal law requires all reconditioned mattresses to be labled with a yellow tag. When in the store, ask for a new mattress, not a renovated, reconditioned, or refurbished one. If the mattress is shipped to your home, check the mattress tag with the invoice, to make sure it's the same one you saw in the store.
