The Xbox 360 controller uses a proprietary wireless technology to connect to the Xbox 360 console.
It allows you to connect to xbox live on a wireless network
Only if you have the wireless adapter, or the Xbox 360 Slim.
You either have to have the wireless adapter or the xbox 360 slim (which is better)
It will if you buy the 100 dollar wireless adapter.
Your router WILL need to be wireless to connect wirelessly to your Xbox, but you can use an ethernet cable if your router is not wireless, straight from the router to the XBOX
The kinect does not need any internet to get it set up. To connect to wireless on xbox 360 slim. Go to the settings, select network settings, select wireless and scan for wireless internet and connect.
make sure you have a router ( wireless or wired ) then connect you Ethernet wire/cable to the router and one to the xbox 360 the go to connect live
you need a special adaptor
Yes. Otherwise how would it connect to the internet?
As long as they are FOR the xBox 360, they should. The wired ones will probably be first to connect because it takes more time for the wireless one to connect. NOTE: I have no experience in this, only for normal xBox 360 controllers (wired and wireless). Hopefully, this helped you guys!
Microsoft's Windows Connect Now (WCN) Technology makes it easier for you to add devices like the Xbox 360 to your existing wireless network. Creating a secure wireless network and delivering the necessary wireless settings to wireless devices could be difficult for even the most knowledgeable user. 1. Connect a wireless networking adapter, such as the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter, or a wireless bridge to your Xbox 360 console. 2. Use WCN on your PC running Windows XP SP2 or later to transfer your wireless settings to a portable USB flash drive of any size. 3. On your Xbox 360 console, go to the System area. 4. Select Network Settings, then Windows Connect Now. 5. Connect your USB flash drive to the rear USB port on your Xbox 360 console. When prompted, select Test Xbox Live to apply your wireless settings.
