Possibly, but hell will have to freeze over first. The members of ABBA have no desire to return to that time in their lives. They have all moved on to new things and don't spend a lot of time looking back.
ABBA's only North American tour was 1979-80.
You can find different videos of ABBA's 1975 tour to different cities on YouTube.
I think there was only one ABBA film, a documentary of the band on tour.
No.
I don't think so.
Mamma Mia, ABBA The Movie (a film about the group's tour of Australia in the seventees), Muriel's Wedding.
go on tour
ABBA first toured Australia in 1976. The tour was part of their global success following the release of their hit albums and singles. They performed multiple concerts in major cities, captivating Australian audiences with their music and stage presence. This tour contributed significantly to their popularity in the region.
No. They said that they didn't want to reform and said that they didn't want to tour.
Ummm...thousands have, but sadly not me. Abba actually performed live for two years before they ever released an album. They had a tour of Swedish folk parks in 1973, and a tour of Europe in 1974 and 75. They staged a major tour of Europe and Australia in 1977, which became the basis for the film "ABBA:The Movie", directed by future Oscar nominee Lasse Hallstrom. In 1979 they had their first and only tour of the US and Canada, highlights of which are on the DVD "ABBA in Concert". They also toured Europe again, including six sold out nights at Wembley Arena in London. In 1980 they toured Japan, which is documented on the DVD "ABBA in Japan". A rocker friend of mine was forced to take his little sister to Abba's last North American concert in Toronto, on Oct. 7, 1979. He says to this day it's one of the best concerts he's ever seen.
They did not. Except for individual appearances such as American Bandstand, the group had just the single tour of North America.
Abba visited Canada during their tour of North America and Europe in 1979 and visited the following cities: 13 September: Edmonton (first concert of the tour) 15 September: Vancouver 6 October: Montréal 7 October: Toronto Between Vancouver and Montréal, they played concerts in the USA.
