action replay works by intercepting the game from talking to the system and telling it to listen to it instead of the game. it will do nothing to the game itself, it may however make you console get slower over time and can mess up you files you save while using the action replay.
If you have Wild Pokemon Modifier you can search it up on IGN or something... and using action replay doesn't mess up your games

If your action replay is not working after you type in a code then the person you got that code from is a bad person with pokesav. He makes codes that mess up your action replay. BEWARE!!!!!!!

No, it does not. With the old GBA Action Replay, since the data was stored on a battery in the system, it was subject to possible deletion, but since DS games back everything up, you won't have a problem. Even if it does delete data, it would just revert you to your next most recent save.
action replay! other options: Pokemon league! PS: action replays might mess up your game
Go to codejunkies.com for action replay codes, as it is the official AR website. These codes are the only ones which are guaranteed not to mess up your save file.Hope i was of help!:)
I highly recommend not to because it can really mess up the game hence the fact of hacking, Although if you have a gameshark or action replay they will not mess the games up the cheats in those are to be helpful like super leveling up you can level up your Pokemon alot faster and such
