In other words, Christ will come to earth and judge the earth on the earth. The dead will be raised, everyone will receive their body, either glorified for those in heaven, or not, for those in hell; and there will be a new earth and a new heaven.
We all will go only after the judgment day, and no one can take anybody with them.
Your religious believer will simply raise all our souls and wait for us at the gates of heaven

Heaven Can Wait - EP - was created in 1990.
For Catholics the place is called purgatory. Souls wait there, atone for their wicked ways before entering heaven. Protestants believe in a similar place but it is refered to as Abraham's Bosom. This Bosom is directly opposite of Sheol or Hades as it is sometimes called, divided by a great chasm that cannot be crossed from either way. The Gospels tell of Jesus' desent into hell and retrieving waiting souls from the Bosom before sending them to heaven. Whoever now is in Abraham's Bosom waiting came after Christ's death.
Heaven Can Wait is on the Invincible album which was released in 2001.
In Islam, when a person dies, their soul goes to a place called the Barzakh, where it waits for the Day of Judgment. On that day, individuals will be judged based on their deeds and beliefs, and then they will either go to heaven or hell for eternity.
